All-in-One Equine Nutrition
— Two Easy Ways to Feed

EquiPride® (top-dress) and EquiLix® (free-choice tubs)
are both powered by ProBiotein® to support:

Gut health | Feed utilization | Everyday performance

ProBiotein® is SweetPro’s unique digestive-aid blend used in EquiPride® and EquiLix®. It combines yeast culture, multiple prebiotic fibers, enzymes, and flax (Omega-3) to support a healthy hindgut microbiome—helping horses get more from their forage and daily ration.

What is ProBiotein®

Yeast culture + multi-prebiotic fibers help feed beneficial gut bacteria.

Enzymes assist fiber, protein and mineral utilization.

Flax adds Omega-3 fatty acids.

Which is right for your feeding routine?

EquiPride® (Top-Dress Loose Meal)

Daily top-dress with vitamins, minerals and ProBiotein®—non-molasses.

  • Precise scooped dosing in the grain pan—ideal when you feed individually each day.

  • Add 1 oz per 100 lb body weight. Each pail/bag includes a 5-oz scoop. Most adult horses: about 2 scoops/day; adjust for easy keepers or performance work.

  • 25-lb pail; 50-lb bag; also available with garlic.

EquiLix® (Free-Choice Lick Tubs)

All-in-one, no molasses, no added sugar or starch free-choice tubs with ProBiotein®.

  • Pasture or dry-lot convenience—horses lick as needed; great when turnout is your primary routine.

  • About 1 lb per head per day (varies with forage quality). If intake dips as forage quality improves, use EquiLix® PI; if intake runs high on poor forage, consider EquiLix® MaXX.

  • 50-, 125-, and 250-lb tubs; garlic option available.

When you need to adjust intake

EquiLix® PI (Performance Intake)

Designed with less intake control to encourage higher intake for working/competition horses or when standard EquiLix intake declines with richer forage. Sizes: 25-lb hanging bucket, 50-lb, 125-lb; garlic options available.

How to Feed

EquiPride. (Top-Dress)

Start & Serve

Introduce over 3–5 days; feed the labeled rate by body weight/work, split AM/PM over grain or soaked mash. As workload rises, total nutrient needs increase—adjust within label.

Always

Provide quality forage, fresh water, and plain salt.

EquiLix® Free-Choice Tubs

Place

Level, high-traffic areas; use multiple tubs for groups so timid horses get access.

Use

No scooping—horses self-regulate; replace before empty. Typical intake on EquiLix is about 1 lb per head per day.

Manage intake with formula & placement

In low-moisture tubs, hardness (“intake control”) and surface exposure govern lick rate; moving tubs closer raises intake, farther lowers it.

Choose the Right Formula (and When to Adjust)

  • EquiLix® PI (Softest)

Built with less intake control to encourage higher intake. Useful for horses with above‑normal activity or competition, lactating or late-gestation mare, or when standard EquiLix intake falls.

  • EquiLix® (Medium)

Baseline for most horses, most of the year; ~1 lb/hd/day typical. If intake drops, consider moving to PI to encourage consumption. If intake climbs, consider MaXX to moderate it.

  • EquiLix® MaXX (Hardest)

A more restrictive option to moderate consumption when horses over‑consume standard EquiLix; aimed at herds on average to below‑average hay.

Who Benefits from PI
or MaXX?

  • Increased energy demand with work; PI can help sustain daily intake during training or competition.

  • Nutrient needs rise in the last trimester; maintaining intake helps support fetal growth.

  • significantly higher requirements (energy, protein, minerals); consistent intake is critical.
